Job Title: Telecommunications Technical Officer

This role is responsible for meeting the requirements of telecommunications specifications, standards and health safety guidelines.

  • To be successful in this position you will need to read and interpret technical design documents and implement/install equipment as per design.
  • You should also be competent in troubleshooting performance monitoring of telecommunications networks, diagnosis and repair of faults, and the selection and installation of equipment.
  • Additionally, you will provide technical advice and information, and monitor the performance of complex telecommunications networks and equipment.
  • Prior experience working on telecommunications networks such as Telstra, VHA/TPG and Optus (4G/5G) would be highly regarded.
Requirements:
  • A minimum 5 years' demonstrated experience in the telecommunication industry.
  • A sound understanding of health and safety requirements including site specific work methods.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Appropriately skilled with MS applications including excel and word.
  • Required tickets/licenses: Australian driver's license, white card, RADHAZ awareness, working at height and first aid & CPR.
