Job Overview:

The role of the Security Training Manager is a critical component in ensuring the development and implementation of effective security training programs. The position involves working closely with risk and security managers to create tailored content that addresses capability gaps, and overseeing the transition of training materials into an LMS for structured governance.

This role requires strong planning, presentation, and delivery capabilities, ensuring effective training sessions and presentations. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are also essential in conveying information clearly and persuasively to diverse stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver engaging training programs focused on critical incident response and other essential security skills.
  • Enhance centre teams' security capabilities by designing training programs that meet their needs.
  • Provide coaching and support to centre teams, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
  • Collaborate with security experts to implement tailored programs across the portfolio.
  • Track and assess the effectiveness of training programs, ensuring they remain fit for purpose and improve security capabilities.

Requirements:

  • A proven track record of delivering results in fast-paced environments.
  • Strong planning, presentation, and delivery capabilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Skilful in understanding and responding to the needs of different audiences.
