Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Biomedical Scientist to join our dynamic team. As a Pathology Collector, you will be responsible for collecting and processing patient specimens in a fast-paced laboratory environment.

Your primary duties will include:

  • Collecting blood samples from patients using state-of-the-art equipment
  • Processing and handling of patient specimens in accordance with established protocols
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation of specimen collection and processing

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines and achieve departmental goals
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, healthcare professionals, and laboratory staff
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments and advancements in pathology testing and technology

Requirements:

  • Certificate III or IV in Pathology Collection or related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in venepuncture and specimen collection
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
