Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a medical professional to fill a 12-month part-time role in our Andrology department at The Royal Children's Hospital.

About the Position:

This fixed-term appointment will provide an opportunity for a skilled Medical Scientist to contribute to the care of children and young people in Victoria.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform laboratory duties including specimen reception, diagnostic testing, and cryopreservation of clinical semen samples.
  • Carry out routine maintenance and troubleshooting on automated and manual instrumentation and equipment.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Applied Science (Medical Laboratory Science), Bachelor of Biomedical Science (Laboratory Medicine), or equivalent bachelor's degree.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of male reproductive physiology is desirable.
