
Senior Surgical Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Surgeon to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to make a significant contribution to the provision of high-quality surgical care.
Job Description:The successful candidate will be responsible for participating in the delivery of effective, efficient, and equitable clinical services to hospital clients under the supervision of consultant surgeons in the unit. They will contribute to the development and maintenance of clinical policies and procedures, as well as participate in educational activities and research projects.
This role involves working closely with other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care, and the ability to communicate effectively with patients, relatives, and colleagues is essential. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to demonstrate a commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
Required Skills and Qualifications:- Fellowship in General Surgery with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (RACS) or recognised equivalent;
- MBBS or equivalent qualification registrable with the Medical Board of Australia;
- Mandatory requirements include holding Specialist Registration in General Surgery with the Medical Board of Australia at the commencement of employment.
