About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mobile Maintenance High Risk Trainer to join our team at Thiess. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality training and development programs to our employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Liaise with Supervisors and Superintendents to schedule training sessions and ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Communicate training feedback to site personnel and verify competence for high-risk tickets.
  • Review and improve procedures and processes to enhance performance, job satisfaction, and productivity.
  • Utilize and generate reports from our training database to inform decision-making.
  • Conduct or facilitate safety educational programs relevant to mining and other applicable work areas on-site.
  • Identify training needs and conduct, monitor, and coordinate training assessments as required.
  • Keep accurate records of training activities and attend own training and development programs as directed.
About You

We are looking for a candidate with a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, Australian Driver's Licence, and relevant high-risk tickets. You will also have demonstrated experience in open-pit mining maintenance operations and intermediate computer skills.
