As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for conducting repairs and preventive maintenance of ground support equipment. This is a challenging role that requires technical skills and experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize your expertise to conduct repairs and preventive maintenance of ground support equipment.
  • Report daily to the Shift Supervisor and work under management.
  • Conduct preventive servicing, data collecting, repair, and maintenance tasks that reflect trade standards.
  • Promote a safety-first approach and collaborate with fabricators, technicians, and assistants to develop effective solutions.
  • Work with a variety of equipment and utilize unique aviation equipment as an opportunity to bring knowledge and skills to the role.
Requirements:
  • Holding a relevant Mechanic Trade Qualification is essential.
  • You should have your own tools.
  • Exposure to diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical fault finding is highly regarded.
  • A current and valid Driver's License is required.
  • A strong focus on safety standards and company policies & procedures is necessary.
  • Experience working within procedural guidelines is expected.
  • Good communication skills and proactiveness are essential.
  • A positive attitude and proactive mindset, with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, are required.
