Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Subcontract Coordinator to support the delivery of facilities management services across South Australian government agencies under a public contract.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate subcontractor engagement with Procurement, Commercial, and Operations teams.
  • Provide support in developing and negotiating contracts for services, including pricing and statement of work elements.
  • Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and head contractor requirements for subcontractor engagement.
  • Manage subcontract activities, ensuring performance monitoring and management is conducted, administered, and recorded in systems.
  • Ensure financial and cost management of subcontract activities aligns with head contract requirements.
  • Establish an audit program, implement corrective actions, and drive business improvement initiatives.
  • Resolve disputes with subcontractors.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary or trade qualifications relevant to the role.
  • Knowledge of construction, project, and program control principles and practices.
  • Proven experience in collaborative and consultative processes at a professional level.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal communication skills and team collaboration abilities.
  • Ability to adapt in complex environments with multiple stakeholders.
