Speech Therapist Role Overview

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Speech Therapist to join our team. We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced professional to deliver high-quality speech therapy services to individuals with a range of conditions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To provide comprehensive assessment, treatment and management plans for individuals with speech and language disorders.
  • To monitor, evaluate and modify treatment to measure client progress and ensure effectiveness of intervention.
  • To work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide a coordinated service.
  • To contribute to the development and implementation of speech therapy programs and protocols.
  • To participate in regular clinical meetings and contribute to the planning and delivery of speech therapy services.
Requirements:
  • Qualification in Speech Pathology (Undergraduate or Masters)
  • Registration with Speech Pathology Australia and associated Private Indemnity Insurance
  • Full valid Drivers License
  • Working with Childrens Check
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
  • Experience in Neurological rehabilitation
  • Emotional intelligence and resilience
  • Flexibility, ability to prioritise, multi-task and problem solve
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills
