Job Opportunity: Substation Project Manager

We are seeking a skilled Substation Project Manager to lead our team in managing and executing various substation projects.

  • This role will involve overseeing the entire life cycle of projects, from planning to completion, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining high-quality standards.
About the Role:
  • This position requires strong leadership skills, with experience in managing teams and coordinating with design teams.
  • The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational, project management, and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage projects from inception to completion.
  • Oversee team workload, schedules, quality, utilization, morale, and performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Mentor and develop team members to enhance their skills and expertise.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
  • A minimum of 2 years of project management experience, preferably in the power industry.
  • Strong technical knowledge and understanding of substation systems.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with system projection and planning, communication, distribution, and transmission lines.
  • Experience with public involvement, environmental permitting, and real estate acquisition.
  • PMP certification or equivalent experience.
