You will work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and meet high standards of quality.

Main Responsibilities
  • Apply technical expertise to deliver efficient solutions on complex design projects.
  • Develop and review scopes, detailed design, and installation scope of works.
  • Provide technical input into staging, constructability, operability, and maintainability reviews.
  • Identify opportunities to develop new engineering standards.
  • Contribute to the development of business cases for Distribution network projects, ensuring cost-effective and constructible outcomes.
  • Deliver design projects on time, working collaboratively with internal stakeholders and external partners.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Detailed technical knowledge and extensive experience in electricity networks, particularly in the utilities sector.
  • Ability to communicate complex engineering concepts effectively.
  • Understanding of project lifecycles and application of engineering principles with design and construction expertise.
  • Experience with substation augmentation and construction projects, including brownfield and greenfield developments.
  • Primary substation design experience, having worked on Zone-Substation/Terminal station augmentation projects ranging from 22kV to 66kV.
