Job DescriptionThis is a key role within the APH Catering and Events Team, responsible for delivering events and catering services at Australian Parliament House through an in-house service delivery model. The successful candidate will be required to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders to provide high-quality products, services, and information regarding event venues and catering services offered at Australian Parliament House.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver events and catering services at Australian Parliament House, ensuring high standards of food and beverage service across all outlets and event venues.
- Manage sales enquiries and bookings in a professional, polite, timely, accurate, and efficient manner.
- Maintain records of all enquiries and bookings in the event booking system, adhering to DPS policies and standard operating procedures.
- Coordinate event delivery and logistics, including responding to enquiries, generating proposals, coordinating event operations, providing invoicing, and gathering feedback.
To be successful in this role, you will possess relevant experience in multi-purpose events and catering, as well as qualifications in the events field or equivalent relevant qualifications/experience. You will also be required to obtain and maintain a Baseline Vetting (Protected/Restricted) security clearance.
