Responsibilities

Join one of Australia's leading consultancy firms and play a key role in delivering robust, secure, and high-performing network services for our clients. Based in Sydney, this position offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge infrastructure projects and collaborate with industry experts across multiple domains.

Network Operations & Support

  • Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support for enterprise-grade routers, switches, firewalls, and proxy services
  • Manage the network performance and availability, proactively identifying and resolving issues
  • Maintain and upgrade network hardware and software to ensure optimal functionality
  • Support DMZ environments, intrusion detection / prevention systems, and VPN configurations

Managed Services Integration

Collaborate with IT Service Management (ITSM) teams to align network operations with incident, problem, and change management processesParticipate in CMDB discovery activities and configuration auditsAssist with ServiceNow integrations for network-related modules and workflows

Security & Compliance

Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and manage patching cycles

Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and client-specific compliance standards

Your Profile

7+ years of experience in network engineering and managed services.Strong expertise in Cisco platforms (ASR, ISR, Nexus) and SDN (Cisco ACI)Strong experience across Routing and Switching, datacentre and enterprise networksSolid exposure across L2 and L3 support for a range of stakeholders - internally and externallyKnowledge of FirewallsCertifications : CCNP preferredCisco ACI skills - desirableExceptional at multitasking, communication, and negotiation skills.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
