Job Opportunity

A Dedicated Local Delivery Professional is sought to join our team in the Cairns region. As a key member of our logistics team, you will play a vital role in delivering bulk freight safely and efficiently.

About the Role

  • This is a full-time, permanent position with guaranteed hours from Monday to Friday, 7am start time.
  • Regular overtime opportunities are available, including weekend work.
  • Immediate start dates may be available for the right candidate.
  • The ideal location for this role is within the local Cairns area.

Responsibilities:

  • Pick up and deliver bulk general freight safely and on time.
  • Efficiently manage deliveries while maintaining high standards of safety and accuracy.
  • Work in a steady-paced environment, consistently demonstrating a strong commitment to quality and efficiency.
  • Maintain adherence to established rules, regulations, and processes to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements

  • At least 12 months of experience in a similar role within a structured environment.
  • A current MC Licence is mandatory for this position.
  • A Forklift Licence is desirable but not essential.
  • A professional mindset with a strong sense of accountability and a commitment to meeting goals is essential.
  • Candidates must be able to pass pre-employment medical, drug, and alcohol screenings, as well as a criminal history check.
