Project Coordinator Job Opportunity

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Coordinator to join our team in managing contracts and subcontracting for the New Intercity Fleet (NIF) project. This project will revolutionise train services for customers traveling from Sydney to various locations, transforming the transport industry.

The successful candidate will be responsible for contract administration, financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with system and customer requirements. This role requires excellent communication skills, analytical abilities, and experience in contracts or administration within a diversified organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

The Project Coordinator will oversee subcontractor performance, ensure work is completed safely and to the highest quality standards, and identify areas for improvement in subcontract delivery and processes.

  • Financial reporting and budget tracking
  • Negotiation and dispute resolution
  • Quality assurance and safety compliance

About You:

Our ideal candidate has a strong background in contracts or administration, preferably in rail, automotive, military, aviation, defence, avionics, or other safety-critical environments. They should possess excellent communication skills, analytical abilities, and experience in working independently with competing priorities.

  • Experience with SAP for transactional and reporting purposes
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
