About the role
Greater Bank and Newcastle Permanent have come together to form NGM Group Ltd, a powerhouse in customer-owned banking. As our growth journey progresses, we're on the lookout for two capable and driven Project Managers to help turn big ideas into meaningful outcomes.
Sitting within the Operations and Special Services division, these roles are responsible for managing the end-to-end delivery of key initiatives aligned to our Strategic Roadmap. You'll bring project discipline, a collaborative approach, and a strong understanding of stakeholder engagement to lead projects from planning through to execution. Working closely with business and technical teams, you'll guide project delivery using established frameworks and agile principles, while ensuring that value, quality, and timelines are front and centre.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver cross-functional projects from initiation through to completion.
- Manage project timelines, milestones, resources, and budgets.
- Champion and apply project management frameworks and tools.
- Coordinate delivery cadences and proactively manage risks and issues.
- Provide regular project updates to executives and stakeholders, ensuring clear visibility of progress.
- Coach delivery teams and SMEs to ensure project alignment and success.
- Monitor outcomes against initiative benefits and customer satisfaction targets.
- Support change management and adoption activities across impacted teams.
What we're looking for
- Solid experience leading complex projects in medium or large organisations.
- Strong understanding of project governance, delivery frameworks, and risk management.
- Confident in managing cross-functional teams and collaborating with a range of stakeholders.
- Proven ability to engage senior stakeholders and influence outcomes across business and technical teams
- Ability to balance structure with agility, adapting delivery to suit business needs.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience reporting to senior audiences.
- Exposure to change management and Agile delivery approaches.
- Highly organised and outcomes-driven.
- Experience in financial services or similar regulated environments (desirable).
- Scrum or other Agile certification, e.g. CSM, PSM, PMI-ACP (desirable).
