Job Title: Environmental Specialist

Are you passionate about environmental conservation and eager to make a difference? We are seeking an experienced Environmental Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in delivering high-quality outcomes across diverse industries nationwide.

Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled professional with expertise in contaminated land site investigations, remediation, and risk assessments. As the go-to consultant for complex environmental projects, your day-to-day activities will include:

  • Contaminated Land Management: Conduct thorough site investigations, develop comprehensive remediation plans, and assess risks associated with hazardous materials.
  • Hazardous Materials Management: Conduct asbestos surveys, manage clearance inspections, and monitor sites to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Leadership and Communication: Supervise and coordinate site teams, communicate effectively with clients, and prepare technical reports and scopes of work.

Business Development and Support: Contribute to business growth by identifying new opportunities and supporting junior consultants in their development.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Science, or related field
  • Current Asbestos Assessor's Licence (NSW)
  • 3-5+ years' consulting experience in environmental or hazardous materials management
  • Strong knowledge of environmental legislation and regulatory frameworks
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
