Senior Construction Manager Paradise Dam

At CPB Contractors, a leading international construction company, we are seeking an experienced Senior Construction Manager to join our team based in Fortitude Valley.

The successful candidate will play a key role in the delivery of the Paradise Dam Improvement Project, working closely with our project teams and stakeholders to ensure the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

About the Role:

  • Manage and coordinate construction engineering activities, ensuring compliance with project documentation and relevant regulations.
  • Assist in preparing accurate monthly reports, providing financial management skills and commercial acumen.
  • Actively manage and liaise with site-based personnel, subcontractors, and stakeholders, developing and monitoring KPIs and productivity analysis.
  • Develop short and long-term construction planning for works under control, including submitting start-up planning and programming.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements, as well as Company and Group policies and processes.

Requirements:

  • Recognised tertiary qualifications in Engineering or Construction Management.
  • Previous experience as a Project Engineer or similar role in large-scale projects with a tier 1 company.
  • Previous experience in RCC – Roller Compacted Concrete, TMR, concrete formwork highly regarded.
  • Proven commercial experience in forecasting and budget management, EOM Process, and cost tracking skills.
