Job Role Summary

Our organization is seeking a talented WHSE Coordinator to drive the development and enhancement of workplace health, safety, and environmental systems.

  • This role will be responsible for ensuring compliance with legislation, policies, and procedures related to WHSEQ matters.
  • Maintenance of safety documentation, including incident, hazard, and quality registers, SDS, and reports will be crucial.
  • The successful candidate will lead or support investigations and ensure timely close-out of corrective and preventative actions.
  • Delivering effective WHSEQ inductions and training, facilitating toolbox talks and safety committee meetings are key aspects of this role.
  • Audit, inspection, and spot check functions will be performed to verify compliance and drive improvements.
  • Supporting the review and updating of WHSEQ policies, procedures, and registers will be an ongoing responsibility.
  • Collaboration with operations and project teams to integrate WHSEQ into planning and site activities is essential.
  • Tracking and reporting on WHSEQ performance metrics, as well as assisting with administrative tasks, will be required.
  • Promoting a positive, safety-first culture and continuous improvement across the organization is a top priority.
Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven experience in WHSEQ management and coordination.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
