This is a key position within the Repairs crew, responsible for assisting Team Leaders and/or supervisors to ensure maximum efficiency and productivity.
- Lead the Repairs crew, providing guidance and proactive leadership skills.
- Support Team leaders and/or Supervisor.
- Complete planned, unplanned, and corrective maintenance tasks.
- Ensure high standards of quality and safety are adhered to by championing our safety culture to team and subcontractors.
- Inspect equipment and raise job requests on any defective parts/components found.
- Represent us in a professional manner.
- Supervise lifting and handling activities within the workshop.
Candidates should hold a Certificate III in Mechanical, Machinist or Fabrication (Trade Certificate) and have experience in a leading hand position. They should also be able to communicate effectively, have working knowledge of heavy equipment related to the crushing and screening industry, and possess time management skills.
The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of the mining processing industry, job site safety requirements, planning and scheduling, and sequence of work. They should also be able to read plans and specifications.
