At Project Ceres in Karratha, we are seeking experienced Advanced Rigging Professionals to join our team. As part of a joint venture, Clough is delivering the Project Ceres urea plant, a landmark project for Western Australia.
The plant will be the largest in Australia and one of the largest in the world, utilizing sustainable production processes.
This project is expected to generate 2,000 jobs during the construction phase, while delivering sustained benefits to the local community through career, training, and business opportunities.
Your role will involve assembling and installing rigging gear such as chain blocks, slings, pulleys, and winches to lift, move, or position machinery, spools, structural steel, and other heavy objects.
You will examine objects to be moved, estimate their size, shape, and weight, and decide on the type of rigging required.
Additionally, you will choose or make slinging equipment and attach it to the load, inspect, maintain, and repair rigging equipment, and read and interpret lift plans/procedures.
To be successful in this role, you must have a Construction White/Blue Card, a License to Perform High Risk Work / Advanced Rigging Ticket, and be able to pass a pre-employment medical including a drug and alcohol screen.
Full Working Rights in Australia are also essential.
