About the Role:

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for developing and maintaining business relationships across our full suite of mortgage products. This includes acting as a business coach to a network of brokers, helping them achieve revenue targets.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Provide a delightful experience to brokers and their customers in relation to new loan enquiries, applications, or existing loans.
  2. Proactively manage a sales funnel and follow up sales leads and opportunities to completion.
  3. Educate brokers on all loan opportunities and how they can drive business growth.
  4. Support broader business initiatives to improve business performance, efficiencies, and broker/customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
  1. Demonstrated excellence in business development, sales, and relationship management with proven experience in Mortgage lending and third-party intermediary spaces.
  2. Experience in the banking, non-bank, and finance industries, specifically within the broker space.
  3. Current relationships and contacts within the broker market.
  4. Proven experience in growing a panel of brokers.
  5. Proven track record in meeting or exceeding targets.
  6. Working knowledge of the banking industry, Australian housing market, and regulatory environment.
  7. Ability to understand complex industry segments and utilise this understanding to develop initiatives to drive growth.
  8. Understanding of financial reports and demonstrated numerical and statistical analysis skills.
  9. Sound understanding of and experience in project management methodologies.
