Job Overview

The City is seeking an experienced team leader to guide the stormwater drainage crew and lead civil works in the Engineering Construction Team.


Responsibilities
  • Lead and guide the stormwater drainage crew within the Engineering Works team.
  • Operate major construction plant, including backhoes and excavators.
  • Contribute to delivering the annual stormwater drainage program to support the community.

Key Requirements
  • Sound knowledge of civil infrastructure construction practices, particularly drainage works.
  • Experience operating construction plant, primarily a backhoe or excavator.
  • Knowledge of engineering construction techniques and standards.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and lead the drainage construction team.
  • Ability to operate safely adjacent to public utilities.

Essential Qualifications
  • Current MR class driver's licence
  • White Card
  • Operators certificate
  • Current National Police Clearance (less than three months old)
