Senior Technical Supervisor Job Opportunity

This role is ideal for experienced professionals looking to drive operational excellence in a supervisory technical position. As a Senior Technical Supervisor, you will assist the Team Lead by taking on leadership duties, driving process improvements, and overseeing daily operations.

Main Responsibilities
  • Supervise production shift operations in a small team fabricating electronic RFID readers.
  • Monitor and support factory performance, machinery operation, and quality inspection.
  • Troubleshoot machinery and respond promptly to operator requests.
  • Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and cleaning.
  • Promote key production metrics such as Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), yield, and waste reduction.
  • Ensure adherence to Quality, Environmental Health & Safety policies and proactively report hazards.
  • Assist the Team Lead with task planning and technician support.
  • Complete production reports and maintain clear communication and records.
  • Maintain production area tidiness aligned with 5S and Lean manufacturing principles.
  • Raise maintenance issues promptly and monitor product quality, isolating defects.
  • Report disruptions and recommend improvements to procedures, machinery, and training.
  • Lead improvement initiatives and support performance management and training.
  • Assist with Bill of Material (BOM) maintenance, assembly work orders, and product serial management.
Requirements
  • Experience managing teams in production preferred but not essential.
  • Strong time management, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset.
  • Advanced verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and PC proficiency.
  • Emotional intelligence, empathy, resilience, and adaptability.
  • Ability to collaborate across teams and demonstrate inclusive behaviors.
