Quantum Sensing Expert

Q-CTRL employs software-layer control to achieve robust operation onboard dynamic platforms. We seek a skilled Quantum Sensing Expert to develop novel navigation capabilities that solve pressing challenges in maritime and aeronautical positioning and navigation.

About the Role:

  • Collaborate with experts to design and validate quantum navigation algorithms and software.
  • Deliver innovative navigation solutions by translating quantum sensor performance into capabilities that address current and prospective navigation end-users' challenges.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop advanced navigation algorithms, sensor fusion strategies, and modeling capability for various navigation scenarios.
  • Apply data analytics to convert quantum sensor data streams into actionable insights that solve pressing challenges for current and prospective customers.
  • Share knowledge and results with the broader Quantum Sensing Division, company, external stakeholders, and customers through presentations and written reports.

Requirements:

  • A B.Sc.(Hon) or M.Sc. in Physics, Electronic Engineering, Mathematics, or a closely related discipline.
  • Experience in navigation theory, numerical navigation modeling, and/or real-time state tracking and estimation.
  • A strong desire to work collaboratively with a leading team to shape the future of the quantum technology industry.
