Job Title: Senior Solution Architect

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Solution Architect to join our team at KPMGau. As a key member of our Connected Technology Group, you will play a crucial role in driving technology decisions, designing innovative solutions, and leading complex architecture projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead Complex Solution Architecture Projects: You will be responsible for leading complex solution architecture projects from conception to implementation, working closely with stakeholders to capture requirements and translate them into viable solutions.
  • Define Technical Strategies: You will spearhead the definition of our technical strategies for various domains, working closely with other team members to ensure alignment between business objectives and technical capabilities.
  • Create Solution Designs: You will create solution designs that explain the problem, the architecture, how the system works, key considerations for security and data privacy, and how it will be delivered.
  • Conduct Research: You will conduct research into appropriate technologies and patterns to find the best technology solution among all possible to solve the business problem.
  • Maintain Architecture Repository: You will establish and provide ongoing maintenance of our Architecture Repository, including contributing to strategic architecture roadmaps, design patterns, and domain architectures.
  • Participate in Architecture Governance: You will participate in architecture governance boards, setting architectural direction, and collaborating with R&D teams to prototype innovative solutions.
  • Mentor and Lead Teams: You will lead and mentor newer members of the SA Chapter, providing guidance and feedback on their designs, and mentoring engineering teams on best practices.
  • AI Solutions: As part of our emerging AI practice, you will be key to our ongoing success in this exciting space, working with the broader team to architect robust, scalable AI models and infrastructures.
Requirements:
  • Artificial Intelligence Expertise: You have deep knowledge of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and related technologies, with a strong foundation in AI principles and applications.
  • Leadership Skills: You have strong leadership skills, adept at managing cross-functional, diverse teams, and promoting innovation and best practices in AI.
  • Communication Skills: You can articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences, facilitating clear communication between AI experts and business stakeholders.
  • Technical Skills: You have proficient skills in AI platforms and services from major cloud providers, including AI-specific tools and frameworks, and programming skills relevant to AI, such as Python, R, and Scala.
