About the role Are you a Registered Nurse seeking to advance your skills in mental health nursing? We invite you to join our 12-month Postgraduate Nurse Program, a part-time supernumerary role within our Acute Inpatient Mental Health Unit. This program is designed to help you grow in a supportive environment and develop specialist skills to make a meaningful difference in people's lives.
- Fixed Term, part-time (64 hours per fortnight) 12 months
- Warrnambool Campus
- Classification: Registered Psychiatric Nurse Grade 2
- Salary Range: Pro rata + superannuation
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Registration with the APHRA as a Registered Nurse
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for team collaboration
- A strong understanding of legislation, contemporary frameworks, and recovery-oriented practices
- Enrolment in or aspiration to complete postgraduate studies in Specialist Mental Health Nursing (preferred)
