Project Lead Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Project Architect to lead project teams and ensure timely construction documentation from post-DA approval to completion.

  • Leading large-scale Class 2 multi-residential projects through to construction is essential for this role.
  • Ensuring that each project is delivered to the highest standards of quality and performance.
Requirements

A minimum of 6 to 8 years post-graduate experience within Architecture, including a minimum of 5+ years local experience is necessary. Ideally registered. Strong competency in Revit construction documentation is required. Ability to work autonomously, taking ownership of tasks with minimal supervision is expected.

  • Proven experience in Class 2 multi-residential projects - must be currently leading your own projects.
  • Have strong understanding of the Design and Building Practitioner Regulation (DBP), Building Code of Australia (BCA) and relevant Australian Standards.

About the Role

The successful candidate will oversee project planning, resource allocation, and team performance to maintain project timelines and quality. Liaising with internal management for approvals and sign-offs at key milestones. Attending on-site meetings, liaising with builders, consultants, and other stakeholders. Ensuring strict adherence to building regulations, planning controls, and industry standards is crucial. Conducting quality checks at each stage, applying your expertise in construction detailing is also important. Regularly reviewing design work to identify risks, opportunities, and areas for improvement is a key aspect of this role.
