Job Title: Non-Executive Director (Volunteer)

- Have a deep understanding of the cultural, political, economic and social context of the Pacific region;
- Have sufficient time to effectively commit to board work;
The ideal candidate will have relevant governance experience, skills and availability to be considered for future roles, including Chair of the Board.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the organisation's mission remains clear, appropriate and relevant as times change;
- Provide guidance on setting the direction of the organisation;
- Monitor programmes and activities to ensure alignment with the organisation's mission;
- Ensure executive performance by setting objectives and reviewing progress;
- Ensure adequate systems of internal control are in place;
- Comply with relevant governance standards;
