Drive the reliability and performance of Water & Waste Services technology as an experienced Operations Technology Coordinator. Oversee SCADA, communications, hardware, and software across key sites, provide expert advice on OT strategy, and lead improvement initiatives.
- Strategic Development: Provide specialist advice and lead the development and implementation of the Operational Technology (OT) strategy, ensuring continuous improvement while maintaining reliable services.
- Systems Management: Manage the operation, maintenance, and improvement of SCADA, communications, and other OT systems across Water & Waste Services infrastructure.
- User Support & Training: Deliver high-level technical assistance, manage service requests, provide end-user training, and implement best practice client-focused support.
- Network & Infrastructure Oversight: Manage OT network infrastructure including WAN, LAN, switches, servers, UPS, security systems, and remote access environments.
- Compliance & Standards: Ensure staff, systems, and processes align with endorsed policies, standards, and industry best practice, including secure access management.
- On-Call & Supplier Liaison: Participate in after-hours support, manage on-call rosters, and liaise with external suppliers and consultants to maintain service reliability.
Requirements:
- Advanced Diploma or higher qualification in Information Technology or substantial progress towards attainment.
- Demonstrated extensive experience in coordinating operational technology systems within a multi-faceted organisation ideally gained within the water/wastewater industry.
- Demonstrated high-level knowledge of Microsoft application products, Windows Operating Systems, and SCADA software.
- Demonstrated project management and troubleshooting skills.
- Demonstrated high-level knowledge of Windows networking, LAN/WAN/Wireless networking in an enterprise environment.
- Demonstrated computer literacy utilising the Microsoft suite of products.
- Current Driver's Licence.
- General Construction Induction Card.
- Current Hepatitis A, B, and Tetanus immunisations.
