About the Opportunity

This is an exciting chance to work as a General Medicine Specialist at a leading teaching hospital.

You will be part of a collaborative team consisting of consultants, other specialists, medical officers, and interns. The shift pattern depends on your rotation, typically including days, evenings, and nights over a 7-day week.

The hospital has experience in supporting overseas-trained professionals, making compliance with regulatory requirements straightforward, with supervision and monitoring in place.

The hospital provides opportunities for career development and progression through various training programs.

Eligibility Criteria

  • General, Provisional or Limited registration with AHPRA or eligible to obtain
  • IMGs completing UK Foundation Programme
  • IMGs who have completed at least the AMC MCQ (part 1) or both AMC 1 & 2 (clinical exam)
  • IMGs eligible via the Competent Authority Pathway (training in the UK, USA, NZ, Canada or Ireland)
  • IMGs assessed by RACP College as partially or substantially comparable
  • IMGs interested in foreign training via the Short Term Training specialist pathway (STT)
  • Have experience working as a General Medicine Registrar
