About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Endeavour Foundation. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with disabilities to live their best lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support within our Home Service, assisting individuals with disabilities to live as independently as possible.
  • Help individuals achieve their NDIS goals by developing daily skills such as housekeeping, personal care, social skills, and budgeting.
  • Assist with aspects of personal care where required to meet individual needs.
  • Support with meal planning, cooking, light cleaning, and facilitating community connection through socializing and outings.
  • Provide support during daily activities such as going for a walk, going to the movies, or accompanying to an appointment.

Requirements
  • A Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) or equivalent experience.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including days, evenings, early mornings, weekends, and sleepovers.
  • The capacity to meet physical requirements, as some manual handling tasks may be involved.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to privacy and confidentiality.
  • Good computer skills and experience using Word, Excel, and Outlook.
