Job Description

The EPR Infrastructure Manager plays a crucial role in maintaining the stability, performance, and security of the server estate supporting the EPR system.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the team responsible for server estate deployment, maintenance, and support within the EPR Infrastructure unit.
  • Oversee the design, configuration, deployment, and maintenance of server and database environments supporting EPR applications, ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure seamless integration between the database and server infrastructures.
  • Develop and implement server and database deployment strategies in alignment with business objectives and project initiatives.
  • Proactively monitor server and database environments, identifying and addressing performance bottlenecks and potential issues to maintain optimal system performance.
  • Engage in capacity planning exercises to ensure server and database resources meet the organization's requirements and facilitate scalability.
  • Lead disaster recovery planning and failover/fallback exercises for the Epic infrastructure, ensuring timely recovery in case of failures and minimizing data loss.
  • Collaborate with vendors and technical teams to troubleshoot Epic Infrastructure incidents and problems, and implement solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications
