Job Title: EPR Infrastructure Manager

Lead the team responsible for the maintenance and support of the EPR system, ensuring optimal performance and availability.

Responsibilities:
  1. Strategic planning and team management to maintain a robust infrastructure.
  2. Collaboration with technical and application teams to align with organisational objectives.
  3. Oversee the design, configuration, deployment, and maintenance of server and database environments.
  4. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure seamless integration between the database and server infrastructures.
  5. Develop and implement server and database deployment strategies in alignment with trust growth plans.
  6. Proactively monitor server and database environments, identifying and addressing performance bottlenecks.
  7. Engage in capacity planning exercises to ensure server and database resources meet the Trust's requirements.
  8. Lead disaster recovery planning and failover/fallback exercises for the Epic infrastructure.
  9. Collaborate with vendors, technical teams, and end-users to troubleshoot Epic Infrastructure incidents and problems.
  10. Define, document, and enforce server and database support policies, guidelines, and procedures.
