Quoting Arborist Role

The role of a Quoting Arborist is a challenging yet rewarding position that requires knowledge and experience with tree care, plant health care, and industry-approved tree care practices.

This position demands practical experience in estimating tree services. To be successful, you must understand all the logistics required to deliver a crew and guarantee a quality work product along with an excellent client experience.

A strong work ethic and self-motivation are essential for this role, as well as the ability to interact with the public and employees effectively.

This role presents opportunities for growth into a bid manager position for the right individual.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare quotes for both residential and commercial projects.
  • Supply estimates using our job management system.
  • Follow up with prospective clients through our CRM system.
  • Generate more business opportunities within the state.
  • Support operations managers in executing and implementing jobs quoted by yourself.
Requirements:
  • Have a thorough understanding of tree work and be able to accurately estimate time and resources required for a standard tree job.
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to quality.
  • Understand customer service principles.
  • Hold a qualification in arboriculture or horticulture (desirable).
  • Be able to listen to clients' problems and solve them effectively.
  • Ensure reliability is a key requirement.
  • Hold a valid driver's license.
  • Maintain a mandatory vaccination status.
  • Be able to obtain a Working with Children's Check.
  • Present yourself professionally at all times.
Training and Development:
  • Receive ongoing training to familiarize yourself with sales and operational procedures.
  • Participate in sales training programs.
  • Engage in professional development opportunities as part of the package if agreed upon.

  • A baseline salary that is commission-based.
  • Potential to earn a good salary for the right candidate.
  • Company vehicle, phone, iPad, and laptop are included in the package.
