Energy Performance Optimisation Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Energy Performance Optimisation Specialist to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for analysing energy consumption patterns and performance across our commercial property portfolio, identifying opportunities for cost optimisation and implementing strategies to improve energy efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough analysis of energy consumption data to identify areas of inefficiency and opportunities for improvement
  • Develop and implement energy-efficient solutions to reduce energy costs and environmental impact
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective implementation of energy-saving initiatives
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to energy consumption and cost savings
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and optimal performance
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to stakeholders on energy-related matters
  • Support the development and maintenance of energy management systems and processes
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for cost savings and revenue growth through energy efficiency improvements

Requirements:
  • Proven experience in energy analysis, market research, or commercial energy management
  • Strong understanding of Australian electricity and gas markets, including pricing structures and procurement strategies
  • Experience with energy data analysis, consumption monitoring, and performance benchmarking
  • Knowledge of renewable energy solutions, energy efficiency measures, and sustainability initiatives
  • Proficiency with data analysis tools, including Excel, Power BI, SQL, or similar platforms
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a high-performing team
  • Degree in Engineering, Economics, Finance, Environmental Science, or a related analytical discipline
