Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Asset Improvement Engineer to join our team at our Bunbury Operations in Western Australia.
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, managing, and executing strategic capital electrical and instrumentation projects for our plants in accordance with Australian engineering codes and standards.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical leadership and support to electrical capital projects.
- Custodian for plant governance and compliance for electrical statutory equipment, methods, and processes.
- Develop and manage medium- to long-term electrical asset management plans to achieve business goals.
- Develop, govern, and maintain systems, processes, and procedures related to electrical assets.
- Prepare and administer budgets for electrical projects and identify opportunities for cost reduction.
- Lead risk assessments and facilitate Root Cause Analysis of major plant electrical detractors.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- Significant postgraduate experience (10+ years) and in-depth knowledge in electrical engineering, project management, and Australian standards.
- CPEng or eligible for CPEng accreditation leading to NER Registration.
- High level of organization, time, and project management skills with the ability to multitask and operate effectively in a high-pressure environment.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
