About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Disaster Management Coordinator to join our team at Joondalup Health Campus, a leading healthcare facility in Perth's northern suburbs.

The successful candidate will be responsible for collaborating with emergency providers to maintain, develop, and continuously improve protocols and procedures to ensure a state of readiness to efficiently deal with any emergency.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate strong leadership skills, advanced disaster management knowledge, excellent communication and organisational skills, and a commitment to delivering outstanding patient outcomes.

  • Extensive relevant professional experience at a senior level in emergency disaster management.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of emergency and disaster management legislative and Australian Standards requirements relating to hospitals.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team.
  • Demonstrated ability with conceptual, analytical, and report writing skills in relation to incident and disaster management.
  • Demonstrated advanced interpersonal skills, including communication at all levels.
