Role Overview

Welcome to our comprehensive genetic service, providing diagnosis, counselling and support to adults with genetic disorders.

This role is part of our team in the Familial Cancer Centre and Genomic Medicine Department.

  • Process new referrals for The Familial Cancer Centre.
  • Contact patients to explain services and gather family history information.
  • Complete administrative and data entry tasks related to intake process.
  • Liaise with Genetic Counsellors and coordinate intake process.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Attending team meetings and following intake protocol.
  • Entering required data on electronic medical records system.
  • Contributing towards quality assurance projects and training students.
