We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Indigenous Education Specialist to join our team at the Department of Education Northern Territory.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement support mechanisms to assist Indigenous students with special needs to achieve educational outcomes.
- Work collaboratively with students, families, principal, and other school staff to provide a positive Indigenous role model.
- Contribute to the development of educational programs and resources that promote Indigenous cultural awareness and understanding.
- Provide guidance and support to teachers and other staff members to enhance their understanding and delivery of Indigenous education.
- Administrative Officer 4 (AO4) level experience.
- Strong understanding of Indigenous cultural protocols and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
A competitive remuneration package is on offer, including a salary range of $69,084 - $78,762.
