Consultant Neonatal Paediatrician

We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant Neonatal Paediatrician to join our team at CC Medical. As a key member of our Paediatric Department, you will provide specialist care to inpatient and ambulatory patients, contribute to postgraduate education, and participate in quality improvement activities.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide specialist care to infants in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, including after-hours cover and participation in a neonatal retrieval roster.
- Conduct regular outpatient sessions, including neonatal follow-up clinics.
- Provide specialist neonatal advice to colleagues in geographically isolated centres.
- Participate in continuous medical education, including undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, professional development, peer review, research, and quality improvement activities.
- Collaborate with other medical, nursing, and allied health colleagues to review and revise policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
- Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of Physicians (RACP); Neonatal and Perinatal Medicine and/or advanced trainees anticipating completion of subspecialty training.
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
- Flexibility and ability to work in a complex and unpredictable environment.
- A demonstrated interest in and commitment to improving Indigenous health.
- Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of Physicians (RACP); General Paediatrics.
