The role of an Accounting Senior is a senior position within the accounting team. This position plays a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality accounting services to clients.

Responsibilities include reviewing and finalizing statutory accounts for submission to regulatory bodies, communicating with clients as necessary, updating client files and records, and performing financial analyses and planning.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Review and finalize statutory accounts
  2. Client communication
  3. Update client files and records
  4. Financial analysis and planning

In addition to these responsibilities, the Accounting Senior will also work closely with clients to understand their business needs and provide solutions that meet those needs.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Demonstrable knowledge of current economic and market trends
  • Experience supervising and coaching junior members of staff
  • Working knowledge of firm services and issues regarding advice, regulation, and compliance
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to think broadly and demonstrate a high level of initiative

A member of ACCA or ICAEW is required for this position.
