Our Opportunity

We are seeking expressions of interest from experienced Project Engineers based in the Hunter Region who are passionate about working in the water and wastewater industry. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for assisting the Project Manager to deliver projects in a safe and timely manner, with a focus on the electrical components of the project.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Project Manager to deliver projects in a safe and environmentally sound manner
  • Ensure that the project is constructed in accordance with contract and legislative requirements
  • Carry out electrical design activities for the project as required
  • Complete all project-related electrical activities in a timely manner
  • Procure electrical equipment at competitive prices to meet project requirements
  • Assist the Project Manager in the preparation of all project documentation
  • Develop and maintain close working relationships with all stakeholders
  • Maintain and manage Quality Assurance requirements throughout the project
Requirements
  • Experience as a Project Engineer specifically in the water and wastewater industry
  • A relevant qualification in Engineering – Civil, Processing, Mechanical, or Electrical
  • Strong knowledge of the construction industry coupled with highly developed engineering skills
  • An ability to manage competing priorities and meet strict deadlines
  • An ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with all relevant stakeholders
