Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to assist the Project Manager in delivering projects in a safe and environmentally sound manner. The successful candidate will have a strong knowledge of the construction industry and highly developed engineering skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Project Manager to deliver projects in a safe and environmentally sound manner.
  • Ensure that the project is constructed in accordance with contract and legislative requirements.
  • Carry out electrical design activities for the project as required.
  • Complete all project-related electrical activities in a timely manner.
  • Procure electrical equipment at competitive prices to meet project requirements.
  • Assist the Project Manager in the preparation of all project documentation.
  • Develop and maintain close working relationships with all stakeholders.
  • Maintain and manage Quality Assurance requirements throughout the project.
Requirements
  • Experience as a Project Engineer specifically in the water and wastewater industry.
  • A relevant qualification in Engineering – Civil, Processing, Mechanical, or Electrical.
  • Strong knowledge of the construction industry coupled with highly developed engineering skills.
  • An ability to manage competing priorities and meet strict deadlines.
  • An ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with all relevant stakeholders.
