
Senior Plumbing Design Professional

The successful candidate will apply intermediate to advanced engineering and design principles to complete complex computations, prepare detailed technical reports, and design plans. This role involves working in an autonomous manner and making significant project decisions based on expertise and manager approval.
The ideal candidate should be proficient in CAD software, Civil 3D, Revit, Microstation, InRoads, Sketch-Up, Photoshop, and other related software programs. They must also be able to review work for accuracy, make corrections, and ensure deliverable drawings are of high quality.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop technically accurate and clean drawings using industry-standard software.
- Review and correct work from red lines, ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Write specifications, review submittals, and coordinate project submissions.
- Prepare advanced multi-discipline drawing sets as required for the assigned project.
- Promote and utilize quality assurance and quality control processes to improve deliverable quality.
- Research, review, and interpret written design standards, regulations, and permit requirements to apply them to design projects.
- Independently create standard details for projects as directed.
- Review shop drawings and working drawing submissions from contractors.
- Assist with and perform design calculations, calculate quantities, review technical specifications, and prepare cost estimates.
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline.
- Minimum of ten (10) years' job-related experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Strong desire to expand knowledge base and undertake new responsibilities.
- Self-motivated and able to mentor.
- Proficient in CAD, Civil 3D, Revit, Microstation, InRoads (Surfaces/Templates), Sketch-Up, Photoshop, and other related software programs.
