Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a qualified Dive Instructor to lead safe and engaging diving experiences for visitors from around the globe.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for auditing snorkelers, providing additional advice as required by Government Regulation, direct selling of diving and snorkelling products, processing bookings and conducting resort and certified diving courses, delivering accurate and interesting interpretation of marine life through guided snorkel tours and presentations, and providing high-level customer service.

  • Auditing snorkelers to identify those at risk and providing additional advice as required by Government Regulation
  • Direct selling of diving and snorkelling products to customers
  • Processing bookings and conducting resort and certified diving courses
  • Delivering accurate and interesting interpretation of marine life through guided snorkel tours and presentations
  • Providing high-level customer service by engaging passengers in conversation about marine interpretation and tour prospects
  • Assisting with safety demonstrations and attending to passenger needs

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Advanced Resuscitation HLTAID015 (12 months valid)
  • CPR HLTAID009 (12 months valid)
  • Current PADI membership and insurance
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Ability to work a 7-day roster
  • Multi-language skills highly desirable
