Senior Animal Care Specialist

Are you a veterinarian seeking a fulfilling career in small animal practice? We are looking for a lead veterinarian to join our well-established clinic in North Queensland.
This role offers exposure to a diverse and interesting caseload, including exotic animals. You will work alongside experienced veterinarians and dedicated nursing staff using modern equipment and technology.
The position provides opportunities for development, exploring your special interests with the full support of our team and leadership. As the lead veterinarian, you will:
- Provide primary clinical care for both medical and surgical cases.
- Oversee training and mentorship of veterinary teams.
- Serve as a line manager for veterinarians, offering guidance and support.
- Contribute to performance appraisals and professional development programs.
You will bring:
- A friendly, positive attitude and excellent teamwork skills.
- Strong communication and client engagement skills.
- 5+ years' experience in small animal practice.
- Interest in mentoring, leadership, or advanced clinical development (optional).
