Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mechanical Maintenance Fitter to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for performing maintenance activities across various assets within our network.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Undertake repairs and maintenance duties in a hands-on capacity.
  • Meet deadlines and ensure all works are completed on time.
  • Assist in the development and training of apprentices.
  • Identify opportunities to improve the economic and operational life of plant and equipment.
  • Participate in an after-hours on-call roster.
  • Work overtime as required.

What We Are Looking For:
  • Certificate III in Fitting, Turning, and Machining (Mandatory).
  • Unrestricted C Class Driver's Licence (Mandatory).
  • MR Driver's Licence (Desirable).
  • General Construction Induction White Card (Desirable).
  • Previous experience as a Maintenance Fitter in a challenging environment.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Self-motivation and initiative.
  • Responsible attitude towards timekeeping and quality control.
  • Capacity to identify issues and recommend solutions.
  • Physical capability to attain confined spaces certification and machinery licences.
