Job Overview

We are seeking skilled mechanical maintenance fitters to perform various maintenance activities across our water, waste and energy network.

This is a talent pool role, open to experienced professionals with the required qualifications and skills.

  • A Certificate III in Fitting, Turning and Machining is mandatory for this position.
  • An unrestricted C Class Drivers Licence is also essential, with an MR Drivers Licence being desirable.
  • A General Construction Induction White Card is preferred but not necessary.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing preventative, corrective and unplanned maintenance tasks on operational assets.

  • Maintenance activities may include works on water tanks/reservoirs, water pumping stations, wastewater treatment plants and associated equipment.
  • Candidates will be expected to undertake repairs and maintenance duties, meet deadlines, assist in training of apprentices and identify areas for improvement.
