Key Responsibilities- Design and Implement IT Solutions: Design and implement IT solutions that align with business needs and Council's digital strategy.
- Provide Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership across the project lifecycle, including feasibility and vendor assessments.
- Develop System Architecture Blueprints: Develop and maintain system architecture blueprints and roadmaps.
- Ensure Integration and Interoperability: Ensure integration and interoperability across platforms and data sources.
- Evaluate and Manage Third-Party Solutions: Evaluate and manage third-party solutions and vendors.
- Conduct Risk Assessments: Conduct risk assessments and implement security measures.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders: Collaborate with ICT, business and transformation stakeholders for successful outcomes.
- Stay Up-to-Date with Emerging Technologies: Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry best practice.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems or a related field.
- Experience: Extensive experience in IT architecture, enterprise projects, and solution design.
- Knowledge: Knowledge of cloud computing (e.g. AWS, Azure), databases, and security principles.
- Proven Track Record: Proven track record delivering complex, scalable IT solutions.
- Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- C Class Driver's Licence: C Class Driver's Licence.
